Osteoporosis

I crossed over the menopause threshold a year ago. In October I learned that I had lost an inch in height--something I couldn't afford to begin with!

I know that my bones must be losing a lot of calcium, but I don't know what supplements to take. I have tried taking calcium in the past and it has resulted in the most uncomfortable, formidable constipation I had ever had. The calcium I took was derived from oyster shells and was in a tablet formulation with Vitamin D.
